Jim Gately has been active on the New York scene for some time now. He has played with Jazz Violinist & Saxophonist Michael Urbaniak, Gospel singer Odettaand Jazz Vocalist Ursula Dudziak, to name a few. He has also done extensive recording and production work, including CD’s, jingles & film in his New York City Studio Valhalla Sound Studios as well as various other production houses. He has Toured Europe extensively with German Pop Stars Peter Hoffman & Howard Carpendale. As a member of “Twenty Seven Heavens” Jim released the CD entitled “Visions & Versions”. One of the songs from the CD (The Way I Feel) has sold over 600,000 copies in Brazil. He has established himself as a Songwriter & Producer/Engineer, both with the band & with other talented writers.
